The GranFondo bike ride was a success!  It was a beautiful and sunny day, although somehwat warm.  It reached up to 32 C in Whistler.   I don't think it's ever been so warm in Whistler when I have been there before! Congratulations to everyone who finished the ride.

Dana Ranahan has been training for the Whistler Grand Fondo bike ride from Vancouver to Whistler to be held Saturday September 10th.  Let's hope for sunshine!

I am happy to report that we have a new addition to our team, Erin Routly. She is a massage bodyworker with 10 years experience.  She is returning to complete her registration in massage therapy this fall and will be joining us part-time.  Welcome Erin!

Dana Ranahan also just finished teaching the pelvic gidle and hip joint for the level 2 advanced manual therapy course, also in Vancouver.

Dana Ranahan just finished a one week advanced physiotherapy course with Diane Lee and LJ Lee in Vancouver on the lumbo-pelvic hip girdle. It is part one of a 3 part series.
 
Dana Ranahan taught the lumbar spine and lower quadrant scan to physiotherapists registered in a level 2 advanced manual therapy course through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in January 2011.  The course was locvated at the Univeristy of BC campus in Vancouver.  One of the topics presented to the physiotherapists in this course was the concept of facilitated segment.
